Here's what the bride Megan has to say, "Dan and I knew immediately upon entering the Bourne Mansion that it would be the perfect setting for our wedding. We both grew up on Long Island and some of our best memories with friends and family have been summers on the water. The location and uniqueness of the property made for a really memorable day.
The support of our family made planning our wedding a really fun, positive experience. We were shown such love, excitement, and enthusiasm throughout the entire process that I enjoyed planning as much as the wedding day itself. Hiring wedding vendors can be pricey, but for me it made the day less stressful to know we hired professionals who would take the initiative to make every aspect perfect and how to handle any hiccups. I was able to balance this with smaller D.I.Y. projects, allowing certain aspects of our life to shine through, and making the the ceremony and reception more personal and intimate.
My advice to other brides would be to enjoy every moment. Having all of your family and friends in one place to celebrate your love, commitment, and new life together is a once in a lifetime experience. Soak it up!"
