A Real New York Wedding | Samantha + Martin's Central Park and 21 Club Wedding

Hello Lovelies!

When you say "destination wedding" your mind automatically shoots to a beach wedding, but for this lovely couple from England they chose New York City. Captured by  Chris Leary Photography, here's what he had to say, "The bride and groom are from England and they wanted a memorable New York City experience for their special day which granted me the role of art director as well as photographer! This was a day of wedding firsts for me in so many ways, from the location of the bridal suite to our transportation for the wedding portraits."
I love this classic wedding with a beautiful backdrop of Central Park, and a vintage taxi cab! What a cool cake depicting their Central Park ceremony. Love the little edible Samantha and Martin and a little Tiffany&CO box too.

A Real NYC Engagement | Vicky + Magdiel's NYC Shoot

Hello Lovelies!

Today we are featuring a fun New York City shoot captured by Casey Fatchett Photography. Here's what the photographer said about the beautiful couple, Vicky is very much into fashion and clothing design. So, when she and Magdiel came up to NYC from Miami for their engagement session, she REALLY wanted to take pictures at MOOD Fabrics. We made a few calls and set things up - and MOOD's mascot, Swatch the dog, even came over and sat next to them during some of their photos. After that, it was off to Times Square, Tiffany's, and Central Park to round out the session.

Kim & Jordan's Central Park Engagement Photoshoot | A New York Wedding Engagement Photoshoot

Hello Lovelies,

Today's lovely NYC central park engagement photos comes to us from the talented Zen Photography!
Here is the lovely couple's story: One of Kim's best friends from college went to high school with Jordan. When Jordan got out of the Marines, he came home to live with his parents and go to school. One night a bunch of us went out, and Jordan noticed Kim but thought his friend was interested in her so he didn't talk to her. About a week later we were both at a party and Kim approached him, but didn't remember his name (whoops!!haha). The next day we went on our first date and saw each other almost every day after that, but Jordan thought that Kim may have been using him for free meals because he
couldn't read her. 2 weeks later Jordan got a job offer and moved back to Maryland and 3 months later when Kim finished grad school she moved down to be with him - we're sure people thought we were crazy.
Where & how did the Groom propose?
He said we were going out to lunch near Baltimore and kept trying to rush me to get ready faster. I thought it was weird that he was rushing me but continued to take my time. We pulled into the airport and I was really confused and kept asking why we were there. He asked if I had anything in my purse that I couldn't fly with and said that we were going on an "adventure." Luckily, we made it just in time for our plane to board. The entire flight I kept thinking, if he isn't proposing tonight he will NEVER be able to top this. We flew to NYC where we had a romantic dinner and he proposed while walking through Central Park. We took the train back to MD so I would have 3 hours to call my family and friends. He said he wanted me to have a great story to tell!

Love that!

They had known of each other since their freshman year, but didn't really start talking until their last year at NYU. And when they began to notice each other and have conversations, they couldn't stop talking and hanging out with one another. :) I had the great opportunity to fly out to New York for Michelle + Miguel's engagements! They are getting married this October in Connecticut and I cannot wait to travel to the east coast for their wedding!

Pink Wedding at Central Park Boat House | Real Wedding of Alicia & Nate

Love all the pink elegant wedding details in this wedding submitted by the amazing Christopher Duggan Photography!
Here is more from Christopher Duggan: You could tell Alicia & Nate have a lot of fun together. Their officiant, one of their close friends, told a couple of stories during the ceremony that poked fun at the couple and everyone enjoyed the laughs together. The laughter continued when we found a motorcycle parked near the Central Park Boathouse. Apparently Alicia loves motorcycles and loves to pose on stranger’s bikes whenever she can…
Alicia & Nate’s wedding was pure joy. Everything looked beautiful, especially the wedding cake, which was given to them by their aunt whose distinguished taste for cakes insisted on the best: Sylvia Weinstock.
