Today we are featuring Kara and Mike's lovely purple wedding. I love that they chose their old college grounds and use it as a fun theme throughout their wedding.
These amazing moments were captured by Julina Marie Photography and this is what she had to say about their day, "Kara and Mike have a beautiful love story. To make a really long story short: Kara didn't like Mike…. but he never gave up on Kara and in the end he won her over!
Kara and Mikes wedding included many aspects of their wedding that were unique to them and the area that they love which is Elmira NY!
Kara and Mike owned it and made it one of the most beautifully put together weddings Elmira has ever seen at a location that is very rare and has not seen many weddings.
Kara also used colors that represented Elmira College's colors - Purple!"

A Real New York Wedding | Ashley + Dan's The Aurora Inn Wedding

Hello Lovelies!

Today we're featuring Ashley and Dan's lovely sun filled September wedding captured by Tony Spinelli Photography. We love how they took full advantage of the scenery and beautiful sunsets, capturing romantic and playful scenes of the couple walking the grounds of the Inn.
This is what the photographer had to say about Ashley and Dan's day, "This was a beautiful wedding at the Aurora Inn in upstate NY on Cayuga Lake, one of the Finger Lakes. The ceremony took place on the back lawn of the Inn looking over the lake. The wedding had a very Irish feel with the ruins of a stone structure on the property to the Guinness pints at the reception. " I just love this wedding!

A Real New York Wedding | Mia + Neil 's Courtyard Marriott LaGuardia Wedding

Hello Lovelies!

Yesterday, marks a full year that this lovely couple Mia and Neil are married. This fun loving wedding was captured by Angelica Criscuolo Photography.

This is what our photographer had to say about their day "The new Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were married in Jamaica Estates, Queens NY. The groom and his father and groomsmen arrived at the church in a limo, but the bride arrived in style in a red sports car with the top down for all of Queens, NY to see! Neil’s family are from Michigan, so for the Taylor family, this NYC Wedding is a destination wedding they will always remember! For those that do not know, Mia and Neil were living in two different states so for their wedding they wanted a “travel” theme to showcase that love does conquer all."

A Real New York Wedding | Mi + Robin's Oheka Castle Wedding

Hello Lovelies!

Today we are featuring Mi and Robin's lovely hunter green wedding captured by Kristin Griffin Photography. I love Mi's bouquet and their cake looks delicious with chocolate covered strawberries.

Kristin Griffin Photography touches upon how the playful couple first met, "Mi’s engagement ring features an emerald with a Claddagh setting and their first date had the two listening to live music at an Irish pub."

This is what the bride had to say about her color choice, “First, the green fits well with the natural theme. It’s also the color of my favorite football team (The Jets), and reminds me of our first date. My friends and I spray painted bird houses in hunter green (the wedding color), and carved the table number and name into plaques using a wood burning tool. The tables were named after trees to keep with their natural theme. Our florist incorporated floating candles into the centerpieces.”
