A Real New York Wedding | Kara + Mike's Elmira College Wedding

Hello Lovelies!

Today we are featuring Kara and Mike's lovely purple wedding. I love that they chose their old college grounds and use it as a fun theme throughout their wedding.
These amazing moments were captured by Julina Marie Photography and this is what she had to say about their day, "Kara and Mike have a beautiful love story. To make a really long story short: Kara didn't like Mike…. but he never gave up on Kara and in the end he won her over!
Kara and Mikes wedding included many aspects of their wedding that were unique to them and the area that they love which is Elmira NY!
Kara and Mike owned it and made it one of the most beautifully put together weddings Elmira has ever seen at a location that is very rare and has not seen many weddings.
Kara also used colors that represented Elmira College's colors - Purple!"

NYC Wedding Event in Times Square on Valentines Day

Hello Lovelies!

This Valentine's Day, Aruba, One Happy Island, will come to life on a heated, pop-up beach in Times Square as they celebrate romance, passion, and our sweethearts in a one of a kind tour-de-love with a vow renewal ceremony brought to you by Aruba, One happy island.

New York residents and visitors will enjoy hourly trip giveaways to the destination, photo opportunities, warmth and relaxation from noon to 5:30 p.m. Passersby can also stroll through Heartwalk, a wooden, heart-shaped enclosure made of materials collected in areas ravaged by Hurricane Sandy. NYC Bridal Market | The Parties- Part 2 | The Knot Gala

The end of the 2011 bridal market also marked the beginning of another great event! Today I want to share a sneak peak into The Knot Gala! This fab event was full of the créme de la créme of the wedding elite including the bridal designers, event planners, designers and vendors alike. The event was held at The New York Public Library, what a great space BTW, and filled with amazing music, lighting, and yummy food :)

NYC Bridal Market | The Parties- Part 1 | Martha Stewart Weddings 10th Annual Celebration

This years Bridal Market was full of fun, great fashion and I got to see friends I haven't seen in a long time including twitter friends, fellow bloggers and event pros alike. Stay tuned for next week for even more wedding dress trends.

First off, Martha! Martha Stewart Weddings knows how to throw an event and I was so luck to be there along with the who's who of the wedding industry. The 2011 bridal market celebration was filled with tons of entertainment for the senses including amazing music by Élan Artist, manicures by Essie, ice cream by eCreamery, eyelashes by Paul Labrecque, custom scents by Wedding Library and Callahan catering who provided the most delightful mini finger foods I have seen! Check out the mini coke bottles and mini beer bottles.

They also had the always fun Photobooth by The booth as well as custom photo flipbooks by picFlips, SO fun!
