Many of you know that Pantone, the world's top color system used by designers, announced that it was the year of Tangerine Tango! And I love it! It's tangerine with a kick and a bit more bright and saturated with color. So today I thought it would be fun to combine this amazing color with hot pink in today's inspiration boards. Thursday Trend Day | Fashion Illustration Wedding Portraits

LOVE this idea! After 13 years of working in couture bridal and sketching for clients and bridal publications, Deborah Griffin,  has decided to make this modern keepsake available to every bride. Illustrative Moments takes a fashionable memory and turns it into a timeless piece of art and the new go-to gift even more so the ULTIMATE first anniversary gift of paper.

The illustration is rendered in a high fashion style that will take on characteristics such as hair color/style and jewelry but is not meant to be an exact portrait. The chosen pose is decided by the dress and all highlighted details creating a flattering composition.

Each piece is done with much attention to detail and is created in colored pencil, colored marker, ink, and metallic pens and placed in a silk white mat with backer board ready to frame inside a clear sleeve.

So pretty!!!

New York Real Wedding Engagement Photo Shoot

LOVE this NY Wedding Engagement shoot by Scott Kretschmann Photography. Laurie and Joe wanted to make their engagement shoot truly a NYC photo shoot. They took advantage of great subway locals and got some great images there! We love those random, lucky moments that can only happen in NYC. After a quick outfit change and subway ride we were in Astoria they moved on to the place where it all began – a cute wine bar in Astoria, Queens. It was here over glasses of wine that Laurie and Joe met and fell in love. Afterwards they raced to the west village to get some more shots before the oncoming rainstorm hit. NYC is one of the only places where rain can be described as cinematic and beautiful. Of course golden light is beautiful but something about the rain is incredibly romantic. They got a little wet but it was totally worth it. There is too much to love about the pictures-the colors, the reflections, the romance.

A Pink Real Wedding | Pink Wedding Inspiration

What a pretty wedding by photographer Kamila Harris Photography! The wedding started off in a hotel suite full of super excited bridesmaids dressed in matching robes, with matching socks, and matching gift bags adorned with elements of New York and Philadelphia, the bride and groom's home towns. The bride was absolutely beautiful and wore an amazing YSA Makino gown. The wedding was at the beautiful Estate at Florentine Gardens, everything from the centerpieces to the food to the lighting in the place was impeccable. The bride and groom had such great chemistry throughout the day, and the large bridal party was so much fun and full of energy. Really awesome day with beautiful details!
