A Real Engagement Shoot | Merri + Pete's Brooklyn Engagement

Hello Lovelies!

Here's an adorable proposal story from our Brooklyn couple to cheer up your week photographed by The Black & Hue Project: Like most weekends Merri finished a long run in Central Park and had plans to meet up with Pete for lunch in Central Park. After a nice lunch and lounging in the grass, Pete handed Merri a card full of the sweetest, most sincere words describing their past, present, and future.

Pete, the romantic that he is, said he had a present for Merri and pulled out a balled up sock from his bag. After a moment of scanning her brain for an answer, she quickly realized what was happening and laughed internally at the presence of the cotton sock knowing that a diamond ring, secured in a box, wrapped in a sock, was completely safeguarded just for her by her always cautious, soon-to-be-fiancé. It was a complete blur, yet all in slow motion but Pete asked the question and Merri gave the only answer.

Pete surprised Merri, by flying up her Mom from Florida to celebrate along with her sister and family from Boston. They enjoyed a wonderful dinner together and celebrated the night away with more friends.  It was a day to remember!
